Medical Case Conferences

We believe in the philosophy that all planned treatment programs require a collaborative approach, regardless of the treatment modality involved.

This is why we regularly provide updates outlining  the progression of our treatment programs with the Nominated Treating Doctor (NTD) and Insurer; to ensure that all parties are on the same page when considering the future management of a patient.

It is recommended that following the completion of a treatment program, that a medical case conference with the patient and NTD is performed. This is to ensure that the issued medical certificate reflects the improvements in physical and functional capacity, achieved during the program.

But this is not the only time when a medical case conference could provide value…

Fitco Health Technologies also offers an option to facilitate medical case conferences at the beginning of a treatment program, in the form of a NTD Functional Upgrade Planning Session. This service is to establish a documented agreement with the NTD  where we would plan in advance for the functional upgrades that we expect to achieve as a direct result of our recommended treatment program.

In order for us to facilitate this service we require you to select the Medical Case Conference option when submitting a referral form.
